The AHL Coachella Valley Firebirds are owned jointly by Oak View Group and the Seattle Kraken ownership group. The Firebirds are the affiliate of the Seattle Kraken. The Firebirds finished both their inaugural 2022-23 season and 2023-24 season as the Western Conference Champions and play their home games at Acrisure Arena.

The Coachella Valley Lakers are the NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. As the newest professional team to call the Coachella Valley home, the CV Lakers bring NBA-caliber talent and development right to the desert, playing their home games at Acrisure Arena. The team kicks off its inaugural season as part of the valley's growing lineup of professional sports, joining the Firebirds in making Acrisure Arena a year-round home for elite hockey and basketball.
